This design was created for LASER use and tested on a Glowforge laser machine.

The design is a two-layer design. You get a "frame" that has the name of the hymn. And the back layer includes the lyrics of the song.

I used 1/8" birch plywood for both layers of the design. I used the medium basswood settings to cut and score the design.

I pre-stained the first layer and allowed it to dry overnight. The back layer I left natural, however, I did mask prior to scoring and cutting.

Design features a hairline font that is to be SCORED. This helps make creating the design much faster than engraving. You CANNOT engrave a scored font. Please make sure you are familiar with how to score if using Lightburn. *I have included an alternate backing with lyrics that can be engraved. They will just take much longer to get the finished result.

I cut the design at 20x12". If you are cutting smaller I would use care with the more delicate areas of the frame.

7. You may not export the design to any other digital format, including embroidery. Nana’s Handmade Baby is the ONLY business authorized to digitize my designs for embroidery.
